Below Deck guest Delores Flora made waves with the season eight crew in spectacular style when she decided to go for a drunken late-night swim – leading to Captain Lee Rosbach throwing her off the boat the next morning.
The captain was so mad that he ‘couldn’t f**king see straight’, and ordered her to leave in tense scenes.
However, despite all the drama caused, Delores – who has become a firm fan favourite – admitted she doesn’t think she owes him an apology for her actions.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she defended herself over that late-night dive.
‘I think that no, I just didn’t take him seriously,’ she told the host.
‘There was no man overboard protocol throwing out there, no one threw me a life ring, no one threw me a vest, no one got in the deed to haul my a** back in, so no I just didn’t take him seriously.’
Insisting she wasn’t ‘too drunk’ to listen to Captain Lee’s warnings, she continued: ‘Who is not drunk on vacation?’
‘No, I do have a problem with authority.
‘The first time I remember getting in trouble was for jumping in the deep end of a pool, so I’ve always had a problem with jumping in the water.’
She also explained that the water was ‘calling her name’ in the shocking scenes, and she just wanted to ‘bond with the fish’.
Delores isn’t the first person to leave the camera crew stumbling after jumping overboard – something Rocky used as her trademark in season three.
The unwitting star has been praised by yachties including crew members Elizabeth Frankini and Izzy Wouters, and iconic chief stewardess Kate Chastain, for her wild antics.
While she may be a new reality star, she hasn’t actually seen the second episode she appears on, which showed her doing another leap off of the tender boat on her way to the dock.
Captain Lee was visibly furious at the scenes, telling the cameras the unruly guest was reckless with her life, something he didn’t need on board.
Speaking of ending her charter early, the star was previously adamant that he would do it again.
‘I’d never, ever done that before, but given the opportunity I would do it again,’ he told Metro.co.uk.
We can’t wait to see more.
Below Deck season eight airs on Mondays in the US, and drops on hayu in the UK on Tuesdays.
