Below Deck Mediterranean: Lexi Wilson hints she’s quit season 6 with cryptic Instagram bio

Below Deck Mediterranean star Lexi Wilson has sparked speculation she has quit the show, just days after season six set sail.

The Mediterranean spin-off of the boat-based reality show has already hit rocky waters on the first charter, after chef Matthew Shea was sent to hospital hours before the guests were due on board.

Stewardess Lexi then went up against Matthew in the latest episode after a heated clash in the galley – which was drudged up over the cast dinner.

It seems the star has now dropped a massive clanger that she won’t be on our screens for much longer, thanks to her very subtle Instagram bio.

In case we didn’t quite the the memo, the former Miss Bahamas informed us all that she is ‘#NOLONGERINTHEYACHTINGINDUSTRY’.

‘Official Talent member of below deck Mediterranean 6,’ she added – but has not yet promoted any of the episodes on her main grid, instead blessing us all with envy-inducing travel shots.

So, that’s that then.

Viewers were given a hint that it’s not quite smooth sailing for the second stew in the season six trailer, which dropped earlier this year.

At one point, we saw her in a heated row with chief stewardess Katie Flood, while in the kitchen.

‘Right now I’m p****d off with you,’ Katie told Lexi while she was on the phone, to which she replied: ‘I don’t care. I’m leaving.’

‘Hey mum, I’m quitting this boat,’ she informed her mother over a phone call.

It wasn’t clear from the teaser what led to the star’s possible exit, but the latest instalment saw her tussle with the chef as she appeared to give him the wrong information about serving dinner.

She also annoyed him as she stood in the rubbish he had swept up in the kitchen, and ate the food he appeared to have whipped up for some of the guests.

In a teaser for the next episode, Lexi spilled the beans on a ‘burn book’ she keeps, and something tells us some of her fellow crew members might be making her way onto that list…

Below Deck Mediterranean season six is available to stream on hayu, with new episodes dropping on Tuesdays.
