Rapper Big Narstie has urged the public to ‘man up’ as he tore into fascination surrounding Boris Johnson and his fiancée Carrie Symonds’ wallpaper on Good Morning Britain today.
The prime minister is currently being heavily scrutinised over the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat which went beyond the already extortionate £30,000 a year allowance.
Johnson has stressed the funds came from his own pocket rather than the taxpayer, but this does not rule out the existence of a loan or donation.
It’s believed the PM’s partner Carrie hired upmarket interior eco-designer, Lulu Lytle, whose Soane Britain company sells ‘Yellow Gold’ and ‘Old Gold’ wallpaper, which can cost around £840 per roll.
A far cry from the ‘nightmare’ John Lewis decor left by Theresa May…
Many are calling for the PM to be sacked but Big Narstie told Good Morning Britain viewers there are bigger concerns to hold Johnson accountable for.

As presenter Kate Garraway highlighted the delightful wallpaper serving as a backdrop for Big Narstie’s interview, she asked if he was ‘a wallpaper fan’ and how much he spent on his home furnishings.
‘All I would say about that yeah, the prime minister has done worse things than going over his budget on wallpaper. Everyone needs to eat a Snickers bar, get some nuts and man up.’
Wise words from the grime star. And fans were understandably in hysterics:
While Boris has stressed he is an avid fan of John Lewis since removing all traces of the department store from his Downing Street apartment, Sir Kier Starmer was seen comically shopping for gold wallpaper at the Manchester branch.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
