Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden reportedly saw red after Simon Cowell made an X-rated joke during audition filming.

The long-serving panellist, 50, wasn’t impressed by her boss and co-star, 62, after they witnessed a chained escapologist attempt to break free from a water tank at the London Palladium on Monday night.

The Sun claims that the music mogul suggested Amanda was into sadism and masochism, better known as S&M – the practice of using pain as a sexual stimulant.

‘That looks like Amanda’s bedroom,’ Simon supposedly said, to which co-star David Walliams is said to have replied: ‘How do you know?’

According to the publication the cheeky exchange left the red-faced singer speechless and resulted in Amanda hitting him on the arm before telling him to ‘shut up.’

‘Amanda was furious with Simon,’ an audience member said.

‘She whacked him on the arm and you could see her telling him to “shut up.”

“It was so awkward. She really wasn’t happy and seemed pretty grumpy for the rest of the session.

The duo are known for their annual jibes they make at one another on the popular programme, and it’s no wonder considering they’ve been around each other for 15 series now.

Little Britain star David recently felt the wrath of Simon, as the comedian made a penis joke during auditions, according to reports.

The comedian got a little hot under the collar when contestant Tim Jones came onto the stage dressed in his police uniform and started flirting.

The Sun claims David first joked ‘arrest me now’ before going on to ask whether Tim’s talent was ‘getting your c*ck out?’

Britain’s Got Talent’s judging panel reunited for the first time in two years last week after the ITV show was cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Filming of the upcoming series had been scheduled to begin early last year, however, production was delayed and then postponed until 2022.

Britain’s Got Talent will air later in the year on ITV and ITV Hub.
