On Sunday night Ranvir and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice were put in the bottom two against Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer.
However, it was the end of the road for Ranvir and Giovanni, as the judges decided to put Jamie through to the final.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on Tuesday’s show, Charlotte began: ‘She claimed she had no dancing experience, but you take a look at that, she’s had this ballroom dancer inside her that’s been bursting to come out and she did phenomenally.
‘I think she was robbed, she should still be in there, it’s actually disgraceful.’
‘I’m not happy,’ Lorraine interrupted.
‘I’m putting in an official complaint,’ the host laughed. ‘I really am.’
‘You know how hard that is how tough doing that show is, especially with the hours you guys work, ‘ she added.
‘I get up at 2.45am so I know having done it myself,’ Charlotte continued.
‘When you’re then having to go and do 10 hours dance training at the end of it, it is full-on but it’s an amazing experience.’
In the dance-off Ranvir and Giovanni performed their Waltz to Un Giorno Per Noi by Josh Groban, while Jamie and Karen performed their Salsa to Last Dance by Donna Summer.
Speaking to Tess Daly after the results were announced, Ranvir said: ‘I’m just really sorry for him [Giovanni]. He’s worked so hard and been in so many finals that I’m really sorry I couldn’t do it for you. Sorry.’
‘You don’t have to be sorry at all,’ Giovanni responded: ‘We’ve both worked very hard, you’ve been an absolute dream to work with.
‘You are a true hero, your job at three o’clock in the morning then you come in the room and dance with me.
‘More than anything you’ve grown as a person and this for me is the most rewarding thing that I could ask for, so well done to you. Well done.’
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and The Strictly Come Dancing finals airs on Saturday on BBC One.
