Gogglebox: Is tonight the last episode and when will it return?

The cast of Gogglebox have been keeping us all entertained for the past few months, but with the current series coming to an end, fans are already clamouring for more.

Families including Mary Killen and Giles Wood, Pete and Sophie Sandiford and Ellie and Izzi Warner have kept viewers entertained during lockdown with their funny observations on the week’s TV.

Channel 4 have announced the Christmas schedule for Gogglebox, with season 16 finishing on Friday, December 11.

Here’s everything you need to know about when you can catch new episodes of Gogglebox including the Christmas and celebrity specials.

What time is Gogglebox on TV?

The final episode in season 16 of Gogglebox will air on Friday, December 11 at 9pm on Channel 4.

When are the Gogglebox Christmas specials?

There will be three Gogglebox specials over Christmas, looking back at some of the funniest moments from the year.

Celebrity Gogglebox’s 2020 highlights episode will air from 9pm on Friday, December 18, featuring Denise van Outen and her partner Eddie, Rylan-Clark-Neal and his mum Linda, Roman Kemp and dad Martin Kemp, Gyles Brandreth and Maureen Lipman, Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts, Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, KSI and S-X, and Happy Mondays bandmates Shaun Ryder and Bez.

Gogglebox: Best of 2020 will air on Christmas Day from 9.10pm, featuring all of the much-loved cast including The Siddiquis, Jenny and Lee, Mary and Marina, and Amira and Iqra.

Gogglebox: Festive Special will also air on Channel 4 on January 1, with the families looking back at the biggest Christmas TV moments from the holiday period.

When will Gogglebox return?

Gogglebox usually kicks off towards the end of February so it is likely the next full series will start around this time, with the exact date to be confirmed.

Will there be new families in Gogglebox season 17?

There’s no word yet on whether any new families will be joining the line-up, however there are usually one or two new additions each series, so there may well be some new faces next series.
