Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford has delighted fans by uploading a picture of him in swimming trunks while on holiday in Majorca.

Uploading to Instagram, the 40-year-old star said he was spending the weekend in the popular holiday spot.

In the smouldering photo, Alex can be seen standing next to a rocky wall, looking off into the distance as he stands in a pool.

Fans were quick to comment, sharing how much they love the photo.

‘OH. MY. DAYS!!! ???,’ one person wrote.

‘Wow. You’re beautiful,’ another wrote.

Another fan commented: ‘Beautiful… and the view ???’

Alex also uploaded another photo of himself to Twitter with the caption: ‘What a weekend! Hope you’re all having fun in the sun.’

In this shot, the presenter is standing in his swimmers again, but this time with a drink in hand as he soaks up stunning Majorca views.

This holiday is well deserved, as Alex has had quite a hectic year.

In March this year, he had a confrontation with Piers Morgan over Piers’ criticism of Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Piers dramatically walked off the Good Morning Britain set and quit the show shortly after the incident.

Even more recently, Piers fired shots at Alex when he appeared on Australia’s Today Programme in June. Piers called Alex a ‘deputy, stand-in weather person’.

‘Most people think I never came back,’ said Piers, referring to his notorious strop.

‘I actually did come back a few minutes later and we had an interesting conversation.’

‘I don’t know if you have a deputy weather person… if you had a deputy stand-in weather person suddenly letting you have it in a personal way, I suspect you wouldn’t like it either,’ he continued to host Karl Stefanovic.

‘I thought “you know what, I will say something I will regret”.

‘I don’t mind guests piling into me that’s fair game but not friendly fire from your own team. I wasn’t having that.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
