Gordon Ramsay’s shoe size floors This Morning viewers: ‘I need to see some visual evidence’

Gordon Ramsay’s shoe size has left This Morning viewers baffled with many requesting to see ‘visual evidence’ from the chef.

The Hells Kitchen star appeared via video link on Wednesday’s instalment to chat with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about his new game show Bank Balance.

Speaking about where the idea came from and whether he will be taking advice from his pal Gino D’Acampo, who hosts Family Fortunes, Gordon began: ‘I needed to do something to keep busy, so I turned my hand to Bank Balance.

‘Guess who the first person who called me to offer me advice…Gino. I can’t swear but no I didn’t (take his advice).’

Phillip went on to ask the TV chef whether he got ‘tetchy’ with any of the contestants.

To which Gordon replied: ‘When we get to question nine, 10 or 11 then I am like a nervous wreck.

‘That level of passion is evident, and when they are that close, when you can’t think of that final answer then they have to put a penalty on the board and I know that board is going to tip.

‘I’ve got size 15 feet so I’m walking around this beautiful Bank Balance set on tiptoes, trying not to sneeze, breathe or even just shudder in the event that the board comes crashing down. It’s quite nervewracking.’

As soon as Gordon let slip his shoe size, viewers just couldn’t get over it.

Taking to Twitter after the segment, one shocked viewer commented: ‘WOAH, Hang on…. Gordon Ramsey has size 15 feet?’

While another said: ‘Size 15 feet ????????? Crikey.’

One added: ‘Size 15 feet…of course you have.’

Gordon’s new BBC gameshow begins tonight and will see pairs of contestants answering a series of questions in order to win the prize money.

However, if that wasn’t enough they also have to place different sized stacks of gold bars on a volatile Balance Board and the more bars they build up, the better chance they have of scooping the jackpot of £100,000

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
