The series, which is a standalone sequel to the original CW show, is currently taking a hiatus, with the remaining six episodes of season one to be broadcast later in the year on HBO Max.
Viewers have quickly become engrossed with all the new characters and storylines, which include the complicated feud between Zoya Lott (Whitney Peak) and Julien Calloway (Jordan Alexander), as well as the relationship between Zoya and Obie Bergmann (Eli Brown).
It seems some fans are disappointed they will have to wait to watch the next episode, with many taking to Twitter to express their frustration.
Some viewers were not even aware that the show had intended to take a mid-season break, but fear not, as it won’t be long until it will return to our screens.
