The Great British Bake Off fans are demanding that Lottie returns to the show as they feel it’s ‘just not the same without her’.

The 31-year-old was eliminated last week during 80s week, where the team battled against the heat of the tent on the hottest day of the year, to make ice cream cake showstoppers.

Unfortunately, Lottie melted under the pressure, and after several weeks in the danger zone, she was finally sent home.

After watching last night’s instalment, some fans branded the show ‘boring’ as they pleaded with bosses to bring Lottie back.

Taking to Twitter to air their thoughts, one viewer tweeted: ‘GBBO wasn’t the same without Lottie I’m ngl.’

Another said: ‘Can you just bring Lottie back please.’

While one added: ‘I forgot Bake Off was on and was excited, but then I remembered Lottie got kicked off last week so now I’m just sad.’

‘Ok it’s a bit boring without Lottie,’ one fan commented.

During last night’s instalment, Marc Elliott was eliminated from the competition during Dessert Week, after failing to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with his jelly art design cake.

The 51-year-old bronze resin sculptor, from Cornwall, branded his time on the Channel 4 series the ‘most memorable experience of my life’.

After his exit, Marc penned a farewell letter where he told fans he treasures the friendships he made while participating on the programme.

‘Just the most crazy, intense, wonderful, once in a lifetime experience,’ he wrote.

‘And I feel honoured to be part of this year’s Great British Bake Off! The bond and friendships made this year are extra special as we were living, baking and socialising 24/7.

‘For me personally being able to share this bonkers experience with my daughters and dog Hamish, just made it one of the most memorable periods of my life.’

Great British Bake Off continues on Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
