Lottie may have been eliminated from the Great British Bake Off – but that didn’t stop her creating her own showstopper for Patisserie Week.
Unfortunately, Lottie melted under the pressure, and after several weeks in the danger zone, she was finally sent home.
Taking to her Instagram story to respond to a fan, the 31-year-old revealed that she was planning on creating a giant French Fancy for Patisserie Week.
Lottie later shared a snap of her own creation, which was a giant pink French Fancy – and it looked absolutely delicious.
‘It’s Patisserie Week in the tent. So I made a French Fancy. But Frencher. And fancier,’ she captioned the picture.
Lottie’s followers were quick to comment on the cake, with many branding the sweet treat ‘epic’.
Her fellow Bake Off contestant Laura, who has made it to the final, was the first to comment with: ‘Wow, that’s INSANE.’
Bake Off winner Rahul Mandal added: ‘That’s the largest fondant fancy I have ever seen!!’
While former contestant Dan Beasley-Harling said: ‘Oh wow! I love it!’
Last night, Hermine was the latest budding baker to be eliminated from the show after her Showstopper comprising of 25 mini-cubes failed to impress the judges.
As a result, Peter, Laura and Dave will be battling it out for the winning title next week.
Hermine’s exit also caused outrage with fans, with many claiming she had been ‘robbed’ of a spot in the final.
Great British Bake Off returns on Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
