Gwyneth Paltrow has insisted her teenage son Moses is proud of her adult toy business, as she appeared on the The Ellen Show.

The Oscar-winning actress has been focusing her efforts on her lifestyle brand Goop over the last few years and is about to drop a new show on Netflix, helping couples achieve more pleasurable sex.

Her products range from the outlandish but innocent ’This smells like my vagina’ candle, 24-karat gold dildos and £2,000 Ouija boards, to the controversial jade eggs, which Goop said could improve your sex life and balance your menstrual cycle, although the claims were not backed by science for and the brand was sued.

Among some of the most recent products that Paltrow showcases during yesterday’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, are a blue and while G-spot vibrator and female sexual supplement named DTF (literally ‘down to f**k’).

After the two got to speak about Paltrow’s son Moses and how he is embarrassed by even seeing his mum’s bra strap, DeGeners asked what the teen thinks about these new products.

‘Can I tell you the sweetest thing?’ Paltrow grinned, adding ‘this really happened’.

‘A few months ago he said, “You know, mom” – out of nowhere – he said, “Mom, I was really embarrassed for a minute that Goop sold vibrators.”

‘”And then I realised, no, this is great. You’re making people feel not embarrassed to buy something, and that’s great. You’re a feminist.”

‘And I was like, “Thank you my dear”,’ the actress concluded with DeGeneres calling it ‘really sweet’.

Paltrow, 49, shares son Moses, 15, and daughter Apple, 17, with her ex-husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

The discussion of Paltrow’s teen son came about when DeGeneres brought out a picture the Goop founder took of herself last year in which she posed completely nude.

Paltrow explained that she wasn’t keen on taking the photo but her team convinced her to do so to promote a skincare product.

She explained she had to take the photo herself, propping her phone up on the garden fence, to which DeGeneres asked why she couldn’t have her husband Brad Falchuk take the snap for her.

‘Brad wasn’t there. I’m not going to ask my kids to take the picture… or the gardener! Who and I gonna get?’ continued Paltrow, to which DeGeneres replied that her kid could do that: ‘Your kid has seen you like that.’

‘My son, he doesn’t even want to see a bra strap, he is like… no,’ said Paltrow categorically.

‘It’s good that you have put out this new show then,’ quipped the comedian.

After the success of her first show with Netflix, The Goop Lab With Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress is releasing a new show titled Sex, Love & Goop.

Over six episodes, courageous couples journey toward more pleasurable sex and deeper intimacy with the help of Paltrow and a team of experts.

Sex, Love & Goop streams on Netflix from October 21.
