I’m A Celebrity 2020: AJ Pritchard and Mo Farah’s crushing conversation before double elimination

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s Sir Mo Farah and AJ Pritchard shared a crushing conversation before they were both eliminated from the castle last night.

Ahead of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealing the vote result the Olympian and former Strictly Come Dancing professional were sat in the boiler room where they confessed they didn’t want their time on the show to be over.

AJ said to Mo: ‘I don’t want to go home.’

‘No, I don’t want to go home,’ Mo replied. ‘But there can only be one winner.’

Speaking in the Telegraph, Mo continued: ‘If I do leave obviously I will be a bit gutted, I want to say right until the end, but I know what will be will be.’

Meanwhile, AJ said: ‘The pressure is so much higher now. Knowing that one or two people could be going home, the odds are starting to stack up against you.

‘This is the best experience I’ve ever done and I don’t want it to end.’

Sadly though, the celebs were both voted off from the series after receiving the least public votes, leaving Giovanna Fletcher, Vernon Kay, Shane Richie and Jordan North battling it out for the winning title.

After leaving the castle, AJ said: ‘It feels like a celebration coming out of there, I am so happy for them and it’s nice coming out with Mo, friends for life definitely.

‘There are so many memories in such a short space of time, you go through it daily but one day feels like a week, it’s nuts.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
