I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off last night with a bumper premiere, and shattered viewing figures with record ratings.

As much as we loved the show, as well as Ant and Dec back on our screens, Linda Robson wasn’t too keen on the return.

In fact, she’s already ‘annoyed’ by Shane Richie – aka pal Coleen Nolan’s ex-husband.

Appearing on today’s Loose Women, she was asked for her thoughts on the debut, and did not hold back.

‘I think there’s a couple of people that are gonna be a little bit annoying, like Shane Richie,’ the Birds of a Feather actress told the panel.

‘I mean, he’s not a comedian but he’s just trying to be….

‘He’s just being a little bit annoying, he’s been voted for the first trial so a lot of people are seeing that.

‘It just takes you a little while to get used to the campmates.’

It’s not only Shane that Linda didn’t appreciate from the episode, as she admitted she was left disappointed by the opener.

She continued: ‘Well obviously like everyone, I was really excited because Christmas isn’t Christmas without I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

‘The countryside was absolutely beautiful, the castle was absolutely gorgeous. They’ve got proper beds and everything, but I don’t know, it just lacked atmosphere.

‘When you’re in the jungle, you hear noises all the time critters and different things. Our toilet was like a dunny, it was disgusting where we had to go.’

Linda also recalled her first night in camp – admitting she actually wet herself in her sleeping bag when the lights turned off.

Yes, seriously.

‘The first night I got in there, I was in a sleeping bag,’ she added. ‘I thought I needed to go to the toilet but they turn all the lights off, it’s pitch black so all you hear is the noise.

‘So in the end I just wet myself in my sleeping bag. I thought, I’m not getting up on my own, without a lamp, to go to the toilet, so I just did it and then I had to wash everything out the next day.’

Good to know.

Loose Women continues on weekdays, at 12.30, on ITV.
