The Strictly Come Dancing pro and EastEnders actor had previously clashed earlier this week, over the washing up.
Making light of the switch, Shane jokingly threw his tins on the floor after finishing his meal.
‘Right, who is doing the washing up? There you go,’ he announced before plonking his dishes down.
‘How do you like them apples?’
‘Put it by the bucket,’ AJ instructed, as his co-star asked: ‘Who is doing the washing up?’
‘Myself and Jess,’ he simply replied, while looking slightly annoyed at the situation.
Watching on from home, viewers picked up on the tension, and flocked to Twitter to discuss the scenes.
‘Can’t quite put my finger on what gives it away, but I don’t think AJ is a fan of Shane…….,’ one joked, adding the hashtags: ‘#GetBehindJordan #teamjordan #ImaCeleb.’
‘I am here for AJ’s side eye #ImaCeleb,’ another commented.
‘AJ really doesn’t like Shane does he #imaceleb #imacelebrity,’ a follower questioned.
A Twitter user posted: ‘Anyone else notice AJ’s face when Shane put his hand on his shoulder? #ImACeleb.’
As a fan added: ‘Ooh that was a look AJ #ImaCeleb.’
Laughing about his new job in the Telegraph, AJ said: ‘If you do a job too well, you get given a job, don’t you?
‘I’m happy with my role. Yeah, I don’t know why I’m talking high pitched, but I’m happy.’
This isn’t the first time washing up has caused tension between the pair – as the dancer previously quipped that the dishes looked a lot cleaner after he’d had a go at them.
‘Oh my god, no wonder our rice has some weird flavour to it,’ he told the camera. ‘I’ve cleaned the whole thing (pots and pans), they look brand new.
‘You could sell them right now and I think they could put a bit more blood sweat and tears into washing up, it’s a bit dirty.’
Hammering the point home, AJ added: ’If you’re going to do it, do the job properly.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV.
