I’m A Celebrity 2021: Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran ‘dreaming’ for spot in line-up as he sets sights on TV career

Love Island finalist Toby Aromolaran would love to swap the sunnier climates of the Majorcan villa for the Welsh location of Gwrych Castle for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Toby finished as a runner-up with his girlfriend Chloe Burrows, with the pair still going strong weeks after leaving the villa.

With the couple currently looking for a place to move in together, they’re being keep very busy elsewhere down to their newfound stardom.

But it might not be long before we see Toby on our screens again, as he expressed his wishes to enter the world of TV.

Speaking to, he explained how much he loved reality shows when he was younger, and it would be ‘a dream’ to appear.

Toby said: ‘Growing up I used to watch shows like I’m A Celeb, Dancing on Ice, even Big Brother and I used to think, how lucky are they to go on these shows and do these incredible things?

‘If I got approached by any of those shows, I would definitely do it because it’s a dream.’

With it now just weeks away from the return date of I’m A Celeb, it seems Toby would be more than up for a stint at the castle.

He shared: ‘I’m A Celeb, that would be fun, with all the trials where you have to help get the stars, it looks so much fun.

‘I’m a fun person – well, I would like to think I am!’

Toby addressed whether he would one day be up for an appearance on Dancing on Ice, after Liberty Poole was added to the line-up, despite him previously emerging as one of the bookies’ favourites to get his skates on.

He added: ‘The Dancing on Ice thing, it would be fun to do because I can’t skate, and I can’t dance.

‘I feel like with Strictly… dancing again, it would be so fun.’

But first things first, he’s still very much devoting his time to girlfriend Chloe Burrows, with the pair currently on the hunt for a place to move into together.

Reflecting on coming out the villa with a girlfriend in tow, he said: ‘I think I’m very lucky, because I was in the final and I was in a relationship and some people come out by themselves.

‘I don’t know how I would cope with getting out by myself to be honest. Coming out with someone, Chloe, is just, you use them a lot and they use you a lot, when we’re going through things – if we’re a bit worried about something we can always chat to each other about it.’

He’s also been kept busy as he is currently preparing for the launch of his BoohooMAN collection, which he was understandably buzzing for.

He said of the range: ‘It’s incredible, I like to wear [the collection] and other people say they like to wear it as well, it’s a nice feeling.’

The newfound star also expressed finding it hard to wrap his head around billboards with his face on.

He joked: ‘When you’re driving and see a billboard, ‘what the hell, what is that? What is going on… who put that up there?!’

Toby and Chloe are both on the list of names of stars who could be heading to the Castle this year, with Ladbrokes placing them at 5/1 and 7/2 odds respectively.

Other stars rumoured to be heading in include Richard Madeley, who is reported to have signed a show deal worth £200k with the broadcaster, according to The Sun.

Elsewhere, Dame Arlene Phillips is currently tipped to be the oldest contestant ever to sign-up to the show, at age 78.

I’m A Celebrity returns to ITV later this year.
