I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star AJ Pritchard has injured his finger, with fans left concerned after spotting bandages on his hand.

The Strictly Come Dancing pro was keen to give his fellow celebs a hand with the washing, but was seen sporting a bandage on his finger in the footage.

One concerned fan wrote on Twitter: ‘Did y’all see aj’s finger??? is he ok?’ while another added: ‘what happened to aj’s finger pls baby.’

It’s not currently clear how he hurt himself but seems to be getting on with it like a trooper!

AJ, 26, has definitely been through it recently, after contracting coronavirus before entering the I’m A Celeb castle.

Thankfully, he didn’t suffer any symptoms and later tested negative before heading into the camp, alongside the likes of Shane Richie, Jordan North, Beverley Callard, and Mo Farah.

‘Yes I did have a positive coronavirus test early into my isolation,’ AJ told Metro.co.uk at the time. ‘I’m very happy to report that I’ve had two tests recently and they have both come back very negative which means I’m 100% going into the jungle.

‘I’m very excited about that. It’s a big relief for everybody. I just want to thank ITV for all their stringent measures.

‘The whole point of us going into lockdown and isolating is just in case this does happen.’

This year’s series has taken to Gwrych Castle in Wales instead of Australia, due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

However, the celebs, who also include Giovanna Fletcher,  Vernon Kay, Hollie Arnold, Victoria Derbyshire, Ruthie Henshall, and Russell Watson, have jumped straight in, taking on terrifying trials and getting to grips with their new home for the next few weeks.

Most recently, Radio 1 DJ Jordan was declared camp leader, after becoming a firm favourite to win the show.

Metro.co.uk has contacted I’m A Celebrity for comment.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
