Former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Lisa Snowdon has told how she ‘felt pressured’ to strip off for a shower during her time on the show.

The TV presenter, who appeared on the ITV series in 2016, explained that she delayed washing her bikini for ‘as long as possible’ because of all the cameras watching them.

‘When we did it, none of us wanted to get in the shower because we knew that the cameras were there,’ Lisa began.

‘We were like “Oh no, we’re going to be in the shower shot” so we put it off for as long as possible in my year.’

The model, who was the second contestant to leave the show after she was in the bottom two against Carol Vorderman, went on to add that she ‘felt massively exposed’.

‘There was quite a lot of pressure – you feel massively exposed. We definitely delayed it for as long as we could until we were really, really reeking,’ she added to Mail Online.

Ahead of the new series, which is being held in Wales this year, Lisa predicted that bosses will have installed indoor washers surrounded by cameras as ‘there’s no way they will miss seeing people in the shower.’

Viewers can also expect a lot of changes to the series as bosses were even forced to swap the Australian jungle for a castle in Wales, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The line-up for the 2020 competition was announced on Sunday, with AJ Pritchard, Beverley Callard, Victoria Derbyshire and Mo Farah among those taking part.

I’m A Celeb will be kicking off this Sunday, with this year’s star-studded gang spending around three weeks in the haunted Welsh castle.

It has been renovated to include challenge areas, as well as a campsite and a bridge.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns on Sunday on ITV.
