Love Island’s Amy Day has revealed that she has tested positive for Covid-19 just two weeks after leaving the villa, and it’s left her ‘fuming’.
The reality star, 25, has let fans know she is in self-isolation again as she recovers, and has asked them for advice on how to cure boredom while she is stuck at home.
And on the plus side, she revealed that does ‘feel a lot better’ than before.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Amy shared a video, while still managing to look as glam as ever, telling her followers: ‘Hi guys, thought I would quickly jump on here just to address everyone’s questions of, “Am I feeling better? Do I have Covid?”
‘I’ve just had positive results for Covid, I’m fuming. If anyone has any remedies or things to keep myself busy with during isolation, then ping those through, much appreciated, and yeah, obviously I’ll still be posting, I’m still on my phone, I definitely feel a lot better so I can’t complain.
‘But yeah, I’ll see you on the other side guys, love you lots.’
Following her initial post, Amy later revealed she had received a huge bag of pick-n-mix sweets to her home, which she says will ‘defo help get me through isolation’.

However, after the pair were dumped from the island, things quickly turned sour, with Hugo notably claiming that his love-life on the show had been ‘tragic’, with Amy standing right next to him.
The two subsequently appeared together for an explosive appearance on the series’ spin-off show Aftersun, and they weren’t afraid to throw shade at each other.
During a pre-recorded reunion date, Amy was ready to confront Hugo with a lot of the same accusations she’d already thrown at him, as she called him ‘fake’ and explained how she felt she’d wasted her time on the show with him.

Hugo disagreed with her comments, particularly her assertion that he just saw Casa Amor as ‘a lads’ holiday’, but the majority of airtime saw Amy saying her piece.
When they were both reunited for a live interview, shortly after their date clip was broadcast, it was more of an even match as Hugo decided to change tactics at the end, launching a dig at Amy about using him ‘as a green card to the villa’ out of nowhere.
Describing herself as feeling ‘cracking, now I’m away from Hugo’, Amy went on to brand Hugo as ‘just terrible with women’.
