Love Island contestant Dami Hope has shared a little secret about him that we were not quite ready for.
The 22-year-old senior microbiologist from Dublin is about to enter the villa, along with footballer Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma and the programme’s first-ever contestant with a cochlear implant, Tasha Ghouri.
Telling us all about himself (maybe a bit too much) ahead of entering the villa, Dami revealed a secret not many other people know. Until now.
He began: ‘On my penis I have a birthmark and its shaped as a love heart so I call it the love stick.’
He didn’t stop there either, continuing: ‘Usually, when girls asked to see it, it always ends up in their mouth.’
Yep, he actually said that.
Dami has previously shared that he signed up for this year’s series to get some new experiences, saying: ‘Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience.’
Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other publications about what he brings to a relationship, Dami said: ‘I bring my charm, I’m a team player, very honest, and probably a lot of money as well, I’m usually buying gifts.’
He added that in the villa, he plans to ‘just be myself.’
‘Just talk to them and get to know them, be funny, I’m naturally funny,’ he added, talking about how he’s planning on charming the girls.
In this year’s first look trailer at the series, Dami, hoping he has the right formula to find love in the villa, rips his lab coat open to show off his dance movies.
Elsewhere in the clip, which teases an extremely steamy summer of romance ahead, the other contestants hint at their larger-than-life personalities as they swap their daily lives for the Love Island villa.
In the teaser, Paige – who was the first islander to be announced – is sitting in an ambulance in her paramedic uniform, before changing into her bikini ready to soak up the sun in Mallorca.
Next up is fishmonger Luca Bish, who is doing the day job in his white overcoat and blue hairnet, giving a charming toothy grin to the camera as he whips off the headgear and jets off.
Elsewhere in the clip, hotel waitress Indiyah Polack sneaks some chips away from a guest she’s serving on the job, before strutting down the corridor on her way to a summer of paradise.
Following Indiyah, Gemma – who’s an international dressage rider and business owner – enters the scene, dismounting from her horse and shaking her brunette locks loose from her helmet before giving the camera a wink.
Only a handful of hours till the islanders all meet, and we are so ready for the drama to unfold.
Love Island returns on Monday June 6 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
