Married At First Sight Australia’s Jessika Power has revealed the secret partner swapping that went down behind the scenes on the show.
MAFS season six was filmed in 2018 and aired Down Under the following year, but UK viewers are only catching up on the drama now, as it unfolds on weeknights on E4.
Fans were left with their jaws on the floor over some of the scenes, as Jess embarked on an affair with Dan Webb – despite them being married to Mick Gould and Tamara Joy at the time.
Spilling the beans on what we didn’t see, she confessed there was a moment Susie Bradley was in contact with her ex.
‘Mick told me that he had been texting Susie. And that Susie had come and seen him when he was in his room, to see if he was okay…,’ she told us.
‘And I brought it with Susie at the dinner table, even though like I had no leg to stand on. But I’m still a girl, and I’m like, “B***h…”
‘So I brought it up to Susie and I was like, “So I had that you were in Mick’s room the other night”.’
Jess claimed that Susie denied the whole thing, but she didn’t let it go, and asked Mick to clear things up.
‘That never came out because there was no storyline to it,’ she insisted.
Someone release those tapes ASAP please.
That wasn’t the only couple-swapping that almost went down, with Billy Vincent also trying it on with Jess at one point.
‘The only person that ever hit on me was Billy,’ Jess said. ‘That was one time. So Dan and I gone down for our secret meeting at the dinner party, it is so cringe to watch back as well…
‘I came upstairs and I sat down next to Billy, and he’s like, “Where have you been?” and I was like, “I had a mic check”. He’s like, “Okay… Don’t lie to me, I know where you’ve been.”
‘I was panicking at this point because I wasn’t allowed to say anything. He’s like, “Don’t worry, I don’t care, I just wish that I was in Dan’s shoes”.’
‘I just turned my head away from him,’ Jess added.
What else did we miss?!
