Married At First Sight Australia’s Jessika Power denies rumours of stint on Love Island UK

Married At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power has denied that there’s any truth to the rumours that she’s considering appearing on Love Island UK, saying she’s ‘happy’ in her relationship.

It was recently reported that Jessika, 29, who starred on the sixth season of Married At First Sight Australia, was eager to star in UK reality TV shows.

In an interview, Jessika said that she had previously been skeptical about the idea of ‘finding love on a reality TV show’, before she appeared on MAFS, which originally aired in Australia in 2019 but has recently been shown on E4 in the UK.

When asked whether she would be up for starring in Love Island, Jessika replied: ‘100%.’

But Jessika has now clarified that she has no intention of taking part in the programme, responding to the speculation in a post shared on her Instagram Story.

‘Can confirm I am NOT doing Love Island haha and am happy in my current relationship with my partner. Some of these articles are insane but entertaining,’ she wrote, in response to an article with the headline: ‘Jessika Power teases Love Island UK appearance.’

In the previous interview with MailOnline, Jessika had said: ‘‘I’m very open to these shows being able to work for your love life and I would be very open to coming over to the UK and doing a show like that.

‘I actually had Scotty T from Geordie Shore message me last night because him and I had a thing when he was here and we have always kept in contact.’

Jessika was initially set up with Mick Gould when she appeared on Married At First Sight Australia.

However, their relationship didn’t last, with the reality star going on to become involved with fellow contestant Dan Webb.

Jessika has since found love with her boyfriend Filip Poznanovic, who states on his Instagram bio that he’s a recording artist.

On Valentine’s Day, he shared a post in her honour that read: ‘Happy valentines day to the most beautiful woman on earth…. Words cannot describe the type of person you are. I love you.’

Married At First Sight Australia is available to watch on All 4.
