Real Housewives of Miami is finally back after eight long years off our screens, and to say we’re excited to have it back is a total understatement.
There are some familiar faces in the cast for season four, with OG RHOM stars Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton and Larsa Pippen returning to the fold.
They will also be joined by castmate Lisa Hochstein, and newcomers Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and Nicole Martin, with Kiki Barth serving as a ‘friend’.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk ahead of the premiere episode, which lands on hayu on Friday, Marysol teased an almighty bust-up with one of her original pals.
‘I had a snap a little bit with an OG,’ she told us. ‘But when you see it, you’ll be like, “Yeah, I would’ve snapped her neck too”.
‘For the most part, there’s just a bond there. We’ve known each other for so long. It’s like working with family.’
Family you ‘snap’ on?
Series four sees the return of Larsa, who left the franchise after the first season – and she seems to have a bumpy comeback if the trailer is anything to go by.
In fact, in one particularly savage row across the dinner table, she is accused of trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, referring to her former friendship with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
Lifting the lid on how it was filming with her original co-star once again, Marysol admitted that they have ‘made peace’.
‘I hadn’t seen Larsa since our reunion in season one. And I never saw her again until we started filming,’ she said.
‘It was nice. I enjoyed her company and we have made peace and we’re good. I liked having her there.
‘I think it went exactly the way she wanted to go. Definitely. I have no idea what she had in mind, but I think it went well.’
RHOM first premiered in 2011 and became an instant fan favorite before it was taken off air two years later.
Marysol was a full-time Housewife for her first two seasons before being cast as a ‘friend of’ for series three.
And she confessed that it was a difficult decision to sign back up for a fourth stint in front of the cameras.
‘They had called us back in December last year, and I wasn’t married yet to my husband. And I got really nervous,’ she continued. ‘I thought, Oh, God, I don’t want anything to ruin this. I’m so happy. I finally found my love. I don’t want anything to ruin it.
‘So there was a time that I was really nervous about it. But then fast forward to June when they said, “Okay, come on. Let’s do this. We want you there.” It felt like I needed to do it. It’s something in my gut that was like, you have to do it, you’ve got to be there with your friends. And I love the girls, my OGs. We’re all really close. I couldn’t imagine them doing this without me.’
Despite the hesitation, she added: ‘If we get a season five, and they want me there, I would love to do it.
‘I enjoy filming and I enjoy doing it with my friends, I love the production company. It’s fun, I enjoy it. And I bring my mom with me when I film.’
Bring it on.
