Selling Sunset star Heather Young is leaving The Oppenheim Group’s Los Angeles office to head up a brand new base.
Months after Jason Oppenheim told Metro.co.uk he was looking to expand the business in six different locations, he has revealed he’s asked Heather, 31, to open a new brokerage in Newport, California, alongside a close pal.
‘Heather is going to be working out of that office and my best friend is going to be managing the office,’ Jason told Fox News.
‘The office that we’re looking at is insane. I mean, it’s insane. So hopefully I’ll be signing the lease soon.’
Selling Sunset fans, there’s no need to fear though as a rep confirmed to the publication that Heather will remain a part of the Netflix series.
While she’ll be ‘popping into the Orange County office,’ she ‘won’t be going anywhere,’ they said.
Jason added that it was a no brainer to open up an office in Newport.
‘We’re getting a lot more listings down here, to be honest,’ he continued.
‘We’re going to have people calling us from all around Newport and all around Orange County asking us to list their homes and represent them on buys, so it just I feel like it’s the natural progression and it’s the next area for us to expand.
Selling Sunset is available to stream on Netflix.
