The Mandalorian is the gift that keeps on giving – and Disney Plus is making sure we’re keeping merry and bright this Christmas Day with a behind-the-scenes special of season 2.
We’ll be able to check in on Grogu/Baby Yoda, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and the gang in a one-hour special for Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian.
Season two has been delivering some serious fan favourites – whether it’s Boba Fett’s shock return to the fold or the introduction of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) right before it was announced she was being given her own spin-off series.
Now fans can see all the action that goes on behind-the scenes, with the cast and crew holding never-before-seen interviews detailing how the world came to life.
This includes insights into the storytelling decisions, and the special effects that made the series what it is.
The show will feature immersive on-set footage to take viewers into the working of some of the bigger battle scenes, including the early concept art.
Basically, nearly everything Star Wars fans could want – we’re in!
The Mandalorian has already been renewed for season 3 and should be dropping next November, but there’s been a massive announcement confirmed a huge expansion of the Star Wars Universe on Disney Plus.
On top of the Ahsoka Tano series – which will take place before her appearance in Mandalorian, there will be Rangers Of The New Republic, which will tie-in with her adventures.
Other new series include The Acolyte, a mysterious new series created by Russian Doll’s Leslye Headlund, and The Bad Batch, an animation about a group of rogue Stormtroopers.
