Strictly Come Dancing’s Clara Amfo impressed the judges in a big way with her performance this week, with Craig Revel Horwood tipping her for the final.

The judge, who’s notoriously hard to please, was blown away by Clara’s Charleston with pro dancer Aljaž Škorjanec.

Asked what he thought of the Radio 1 DJ’s swivel, he answered: ‘I don’t want to see it again actually, until the final darling.’

Shirley Ballas was similarly impressed, describing her as having ‘legs of death’ and telling her: ‘You were absolutely brilliant today’.

Anton du Beke, who was filling in on the judging panel for Motsi Mabuse, went on to say: ‘I’ve had a wonderful night and you’ve topped it off indeed. Perfect.’

Clara was overwhelmed with the comments, admitting she ‘had a little cry’ as the judges heaped praise on her.

The pair ended up topping the leaderboard, scoring a massive 29 after a 10 from Shirley and Anton, and a 9 from Craig.

Elsewhere on the show, Bill Bailey also stunned fans with his and Oti Mabuse’s couples’ choice.

Meanwhile, Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly addressed Nicola Adams and Katya Jones’ early departure from the show, and were forced to apologise after Max George accidentally dropped an F-bomb following his dance with Dianne Buswell.

Fans previously predicted that Clara will make the Strictly final after the pair’s first dance, with Dua Lipa sending her support.

‘Clara killed her dance. Please let her go all the way to the final,’ one wrote while another said: ‘Clara for final 3 (ok I am over-excited).’

One more viewer added: ‘Clara is going to be in the final.’

Dua told her: ‘I love that you’re dancing the Cha Cha to Don’t Start Now.

‘I love you lots, and lots, and lots and lots, you’re going to smash it! Good luck!’

We love to see it!

Strictly Come Dancing returns Sunday at 7:25pm on BBC One.
