Voting figures for Strictly Come Dancing 2021 that have been ‘leaked’ have supposedly revealed the couples who could be the frontrunners to win the BBC series.

Saturday night’s Halloween Week on Strictly was eventful to say the least, with Rose Ayling-Ellie and Giovanni Pernice achieving the earliest perfect score ever and Judi Love becoming the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the competition.

With Rose and Giovanni at the top of the leaderboard, AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington followed in second place, with Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin in third position and John Whaite and Johannes Radebe placing fourth.

However, voting figures by the public have reportedly revealed that other couples who were lower down on the leaderboard in week six could be in with a greater chance of lifting the Glitterball Trophy.

The Mail On Sunday claimed that the leaked voting figures showed that Rose, Tom Fletcher, Adam Peaty and John Whaite received 62% of the public vote between them for the previous round of the competition in week five.

Tom, who was fifth on the leaderboard with his partner Amy Dowden in week five, is said to have received the majority of the votes that weekend, winning 19.1%.

Rose, who was inundated with praise for the inclusion of sign language in her routine with Giovanni, purportedly earnt 18.2% of the public vote, with Olympian Adam Peaty following with 16.4% and Great British Bake Off star in fourth with 9%.

Despite Adam supposedly being the third most popular choice in week five, he ended up in the bottom two in week six for the Halloween special.

According to a source, the passionate fanbase for Tom’s band McFly has played a pivotal role in his popularity.

‘It’s a case of the McFly factor for Tom, the fans just don’t seem to stop being loyal to them,’ they said.

When asked about the leak of voting figures, spokesperson for Strictly told that ‘this is pure speculation’.

Judi made an emotional exit on Sunday evening after missing the previous week of the competition due to Covid, describing her time on the show as an ‘amazing’ and ‘life-changing experience’.

‘Graziano has supported me, stuck by me, and took me to a place I never thought I could go and so for that I love you so much. Thank you,’ she said.

Graziano said that Judi has become ‘a friend for life’, adding: ‘She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met, this woman has been in rehearsal every day, for every dance, given me 150%, and you know what I love the most, you are true, you are real, so thank you so much.’

What was the leaderboard for Halloween Week?

  • Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice – 40
  • Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin – 35
  • Adam Peaty and Katya Jones – 29
  • Judi Love and Graziano Di Prima – 25

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
