Tiger King 2 is about to come roaring onto Netflix with the sequel to the most surreal docuseries imaginable teasing new details that may shed light on the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s ex-husband, Don Lewis.

Following the success of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, another five-part series launches on Wednesday November 17, following the life of Joe Exotic behind bars and once again exploring the unsolved mystery of Lewis, who vanished without a trace in 1997.

Baskin has already threatened to sue Netflix over Tiger King 2, and now a new teaser has warned the five-part series will dig a little deeper into her ex-husband.

The clip includes interviews with Baskin’s ex-boyfriend Alan Schreier, Lewis’ driver Alex Mora in Costa Rica and his close acquaintance Rey Rodriguez.

‘Carole told me that he hung around with a lot of unscrupulous type of people,’ explains Schreier.

‘Maybe he stuck somebody for some money, and they caught up with him.’

Mora claims Lewis told him he ‘was in danger’.

‘He said it was over money,’ he adds. ‘He had some problems with some people in the US.’

Exotic is currently serving 22 years for plotting to kill Baskin, which came after years of taunting the rival big cat owner with videos, songs and abusive messages accusing her of killing her ex-husband, suggesting she may have fed him to her own tigers.

According to Time, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in the US used the attention from the first series to re-investigate Lewis’s 1997 disappearance.

Tiger King 2 will take deeper accounts from those close to Baskin and Lewis.

Baskin has confirmed she will be watching the Tiger King sequel.

Speaking to E! News, she explained: ‘I have to tune in because there were so many lies that were told about me so effectively in Tiger King, that I know I’m going to be called to defend myself again on Tiger King 2. So I have to know what was said.’

Tiger King season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from November 17.
