Tom Fletcher celebrated his wife Giovanna’s return from the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp by getting a new tattoo in her honour.
The McFly singer has been holding down the fort at home and looking after his three sons Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and Max, two, as Giovanna dominated the ITV series and was crowned Queen Of The Jungle.
But after an emotional reunion on Saturday, he was finally able to get some ‘me time’ this week, and he did it in style – by getting an adorable new tattoo of a triceratops dinosaur.
Posting his new ink online, Tom thanked artist Nouvelle Rita and explained: ‘Rawr! Today was the first day I’ve had to myself since [Giovanna] went to Wales over a month ago so I visited the incredibly talented and lovely [Nouvelle Rita] for a little me time.
‘I’ve wanted a dinosaur for a while so with ‘tri’ obviously meaning three and us having three kids,’ he continued.
‘A triceratops with its three horns felt right (plus Gi’s [I’m A Celebrity] number was 03 too!).
‘So, here she is, ready to give me the strength of a dinosaur…or maybe just look super awesome.
‘Thanks @nouvellerita for doing this incredible work of art while I caught up on some sleep!’
The singer and the kids have been watching Giovanna intently over the past few weeks, and shared their adorable celebration when they found out she’d won.
Tom has since been spotted nicking his wife’s new crown, and even turned it into a wreath for their front door to get into the Christmas spirit.
However, Giovanna admitted the kids had a rude awakening when they discovered they weren’t moving into Gwrych Castle permanently.
‘They couldn’t wait to talk to me and tell me all about it when I got back and they’ve wanted me to watch bits of it and tell me things that I’ve done,’ she told Lorraine on Monday.
‘They actually thought that maybe we’d all be moving into the castle, seeing as I was a queen and that they are now princes.
‘I had to break it to them that we’re not actually getting the castle and that’s not part of the deal!’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is available for catch-up from ITV Hub.
