What’s coming to Netflix in January 2022? After Life season 3, Too Hot To Handle, Ozark and more

While most people may be enjoying their fill of Christmas movies during the festive period, very soon, the new year will be upon us, with 2022 just around the corner.

Netflix promises to fill the void with a host of new TV and film releases on the platform, from season 3 of After Life, new episodes of Too Hot To Handle, the next outing of Ozark and more.

Ever since the release of After Life, Ricky Gervais has received widespread acclaim for the black comedy, which follows a man in the aftermath of his wife’s death.

The next season will be its last, with The Office creator emphasising that this would definitely be the end of the programme.

Everyone’s guilty pleasure Too Hot To Handle is back, following a bunch of singletons who want nothing more than to get frisky with one another – but must hold back if they want to win a huge cash prize.

Now that the show has been around for two season, will the new cast still be caught unawares by the premise, expecting to enjoy a summer of thoughtless fun, rather than emotional connection?

It’s been almost two years since the last episode of Ozark was released, starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as a married couple who relocate with their family as a result of money laundering.

Shortly, season four part one of the show will be launched on Netflix, which will mark the beginning of the end for the crime drama, ahead of its conclusion in part two.

Elsewhere, Kristen Bell stars in The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, a new film being released on the streaming platform.

Bearing a striking resemblance to The Woman in the Window, the 2021 film starring Amy Adams, the new movie will follow the Frozen actor as her character Anna watches the world pass her by through the window.

One day, everything changes when she witnesses a murder in another property… or so she thinks she does.

Snowpiercer is also returning for its third season, with Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean leading the cast.

At the end of season two, the fate of Jennifer’s character, Melanie Cavill, was left uncertain.

Therefore, it seems likely that viewers will gain more clarity on what happened to her in the new episodes.
