Who was eliminated from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK this week?

*** Warning: RuPaul’s Drag Race UK spoilers ahead ***

RuPaul’s Drag Race season two got off to one hell of a start with Joe Black being eliminated in the first week.

With 12 new queens eager to impress, things got off to a suitably bonkers start with a Wimbledon theme photo challenge, followed by a double runway celebrating gay icons and their hometown.

Even before arriving in the competition, 30-year-old Joe was considered a UK drag legend, but unfortunately failed to impress RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and guest judge Liz Hurley.

Up against Bimini Bon Boulash in the bottom two, the pair had to lip-sync for their life to Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

Unfortunately, Joe was sent packing.

Speaking about their elimination, Joe said: ‘I’m feeling very numb. This wasn’t the outcome I expected.

‘It is what it is, but I’m proud that I got here. It’s been a short blast, but a blast none the less.’

In a final goodbye to the other queens, Joe wrote: ‘Auf Wiedersehen, you camp old b***hes. Love you, see you soon.’

During the runway challenges, Joe brought David Bowie to the runway in a fish-tail gown inspired by the icon’s Life On Mars? music video look.

For hometown, Joe appeared in a huge gown meant to be in honour of the Brighton Pavilion – but was called out by Michelle Visage for not clearly demonstrating the assignment.

On the other side of the game, Asttina Mandella became the first winner of the series, earning a RuPeter badge for her East London look and Naomi Campbell realness.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK airs Thursdays at 7pm on BBC iPlayer (UK) and WOW Presents (Rest of World).
