Cole Sprouse has shared his views on the knock-off merchandise people have been selling in his likeness – and his appraisal of the goods is nothing short of hilarious.

The Riverdale star, 28, who plays Jughead Jones in the hit series, took to Amazon to search for the less than official merch people have been selling to fans of his.

He kicked off with a biography – titled ‘Famous Person’ – by an author who goes by his first name alone.

Cole told his followers: ‘Hey guys, decided I would talk to you about some of the stuff that gets sold under my name on Amazon.

‘So this is a book for the Kindle, Famous Person – a Cole Sprouse biography by my favourite author, Michael.’

He could barely contain his laughter as he read one of the only two reviews for the book, which read: ‘This book is amazing and its so ingresting, I love bow the writer takes about Cole’s life and acer, I thik you should really readiy.’ (sic)

Cole also highlighted a cushion cover which had his face printed on it, reading out a review from one slightly disgruntled fan who hadn’t read the description properly.

While they were loving the case itself, the buyer was left a little miffed to find what they had ordered was in fact just the case and not the pillow to go inside it, too.

Cole also shared a clip of a blanket, asking his followers: ‘Is there a market for body pillows?’

While the merch Cole was browsing was definitely not official, he joked: ‘I did not approve this, but whatever, make your money. Make your money.’

The final item to get Cole’s appraisal was a wall scroll poster of his twin brother Dylan Sprouse – who starred alongside Cole in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody – which sadly did not have any reviews, suggesting it probably wasn’t a big seller.

Fans were loving Cole’s hilarious take on the merch so much they called for him to make it into a regular series on his Instagram account – because who knows what else he might uncover in the treasure trove that is fake Cole Sprouse merch.

They joked: ‘Can you make this a series where you read reviews of products that have your face on them? 10/10 love the commentary’ and ‘I didn’t know I needed this, but I’m glad it exists.’
